Accelerated Reading

Accelerated Reader is a computer-based program that we use to monitor reading practice and progress. It helps the teachers to guide pupils to books that are on a pupil’s individual reading levels. Pupils take short quizzes after reading a book to check if they’ve understood it. Pupils receive points for quizzing and points mean prizes! Our pupils enjoy choosing their own books and Accelerated reading helps to promote reading for pleasure.
