October is an important month in the Church Calendar as it is devoted to the Rosary. This morning, Year 6 delivered an assembly all about the rosary and delivered a pack to all children from Year 2 to Year 7 which includes an information card about how to say the prayer and a set of rosary beads. Traditionally during this month, families make an extra effort to pray the rosary together. In school, Mrs Fisher is leading a prayer group during lunchtime on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout October. All children from Year 4 to Year 7 are welcome to attend. A big thank you to Year 6 for their lovely assembly, and another big thank you to the children who came along to the October prayer group this afternoon!
