Congratulations to all the primary four girls and boys from all our primary schools who were enrolled yesterday and today in the parish preparation programme ‘Do this in memory’ for their first Holy Communion next year. The children participated in each Mass from their classroom via the webcam, as did their parents and family members from home! Now that the children have been enrolled for the Sacraments of First Confession and Holy Communion, the ‘Do this in memory’ programme continues this Sunday the 22nd of November in St Patrick’s, Pennyburn at the 10am Mass, in St Joseph’s, Galliagh at the 11am Mass and in St Brigid’s, Carnhill at the 12.30pm Mass. All parents and children preparing for the sacraments are encouraged to participate at the Mass via the webcam or at church, where possible, adhering to social distancing requirements. The preparation programme continues at the same Masses on Sunday 13th December 2020, Sunday 10th January 2021, Sunday 7th February 2021, Sunday 21st March 2021. As a parish we assure the children and their families of our prayers and support.
