This week Mrs Fisher's class were learning about metaphors. We read "What is the sun?" by Wes Magee, a famous poet who visited our school two years ago.
Our brilliant Kacylee wrote her own poem in the same style as Wes Magee, called, "What is the moon?" I think you will agree, it is amazing!
What is the moon?
The moon is the brightest lightbulb at night.
The moon is a big white balloon at a party.
The moon is a powerful flood light at the football match.
The moon is a soft nightlight for bedtime.
