Key Stage 2 Learning Support Classes years 5, 6 & 7

The Key Stage Two Learning Support Class was established in September 2010, to provide individualised teaching programmes for children with a range of learning challenges.

All staff involved in this, have received a broad range of appropriate training including the TEAACH and Pecs programmes.

Parents work in partnership with the staff to support each child's individual needs. The WELB and other outside agencies are involved in all aspects of each child's specific needs. Children are prepared for the next stage of their stage of education and WELB make appropriate transfer arrangements in consultation with parents in year seven.
